## How to buy

Preferred: POST https://api.mcx-ventures.com/v2/forensics
  Settles inline through the x402 facilitator. Send the request, receive
  a 402 with PAYMENT-REQUIRED, sign the authorization, retry with
  PAYMENT-SIGNATURE. The result is returned in the same request cycle.
  No request body required.

Alternative: the /v1 routes settle by direct on-chain transfer.
  POST the endpoint, receive a 402 with a job_id, send USDC to the
  payTo address, then POST {"job_id", "tx_hash"} to
  https://api.mcx-ventures.com/v1/webhook/payment and poll /v1/job/<job_id>.
  This rail is self-custodied and has no facilitator dependency.

## Network forensics detail

Six independent checks run from the AEGIS vantage point against a fixed
canonical target basket: NTP drift, captive portal manipulation, DNS
hijack (multi-resolver with ASN comparison), TLS interception,
certificate transparency (offline SCT verification, no third-party
lookup API), and route anomaly. Returns an aggregated verdict
(OK / WARN / CRITICAL / INCONCLUSIVE) with per-check evidence and
confidence scores.

Buyer-supplied scan targets are not accepted.

## Verification of delivered work

Every completed job's result hash is anchored on-chain to Base. Hash the
artifact you receive and compare against the anchor to confirm it matches
what was committed at completion time.
